TN Educators of Color Alliance
Leadership Development
Elevating values-centered leadership for educators of color
The Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance sought to enhance the marketability of its programs to funders while deepening leadership support for its fellows. WOCC co-conspirator Erika Burnett provided coaching, facilitated workshops, and offered strategic input on TECA’s offerings, aligning program narratives with funder priorities and modeling inclusive facilitation to strengthen the organization’s capacity to develop and sustain equity-driven leaders in education.

Erika conducted a program review with an eye toward funder expectations, aligning TECA’s leadership development offerings with compelling narratives and measurable outcomes. This included refining program descriptions, identifying marketable strengths, and highlighting the unique value proposition TECA provides in advancing equity in education.
For the fellowship itself, Erika delivered coaching to support personal and professional growth for the fellows. She also designed and facilitated interactive workshops on leadership, equity, and systems change.
